Deportation Likely for 3 Ex-Workers at a Catawba Construction Site (Port Clinton, Ohio - January 13, 2010)
CATAWBA ISLAND — When Catawba Island Township Police investigated trespassing at a construction site on Carolina Street around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, they found three men who turned out to be illegal immigrants, according to a spokesman for the Catawba Island Township.
The men, who had been working at the site earlier, did not speak English and the U.S. Border Patrol responded to translate, the spokesman said. One of the men had a passport and the other two had Guatemalan driver’s licenses, the spokesman said, though their documents did not check out properly...
