Bill White and La Raza Love ‘Open Borders’

If Bill White is elected governor of Texas, will he order the U.S. Border Patrol to leave the state? Will he hand over the state of Texas to the government of Mexico? Yes, these questions sound outrageous, but it’s also outrageous that Mr. White is courting an endorsement from the National Council of La Raza.

La Raza coordinates community activism with other racist Hispanic groups that support an ‘Open Doors’ immigration policy and other dubious political causes. The Dallas Morning News disclosed that Bill White, the Democratic nominee in the 2010 Texas governor’s race, gave a speech to La Raza on Monday in San Antonio to outline his “5-point education program.”

According to Human Events, “key among the secondary organizations (of La Raza) is the radical racist group Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan, or Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan (MECHA), one of the most anti-American groups in the country, which has permeated U.S. campuses since the 1960s, and continues to carve a racist nation out of the American West.”...
