PHOENIX — Authorities have captured 17 suspected illegal immigrants in southern Arizona as they continued their manhunt Saturday for smugglers who they say shot and wounded a sheriff's deputy in a remote desert area 50 miles south of Phoenix.

Opposing Rallies On Immigration Held In Painesville (Painesville, Ohio - May 1, 2010)

Two groups with opposing views on immigration gathered peacefully Friday afternoon in downtown Painesville.

About 80 Hispanic people stood outside Victoria Place. They held signs and banners that bore the slogan: "We are all immigrants."

Across Victoria Square, about 10 members of the Grassroots Rally Team stood in Veterans Park with signs that read: "No Amnesty. Not Again. Not Ever." and "No border, no order, no nation. No amnesty."...
Dozens Rally For Immigration Reform

Rosa was only five years old when her family left their native Mexico, but she still remembers being crammed into a tiny room filled with other immigrants hoping to make a new life in America.

Rosa was one of dozens of demonstrators taking part in a 24 hour vigil Friday night in support of immigration reform.

"We're all scared," said Rosa as she stood on the square in Painesville. "We don't know what's gonna happen to us. One of these days we could be walking down the street going to the store and get pulled over and they can deport us."

Rosa's mother was deported last year.

The demonstrators carried signs and waved American flags.

"They don't steal jobs," said demonstrator Camilo Villa. "They do pay taxes. They contribute to the economy. They contribute to society. They are the students in our schools, the workers in our fields. If we want them to participate fully in society, the best way to do it is to give them a path to citizenship so they can come out of the shadows."

Across the street another group of demonstrators stood silently holding signs against immigration reform.

"I'm all for immigration," said John Muzik of Painesville Township. "But we have laws, rules and procedures to do so and I ask that we follow them."

Man Deported Twice Charged With Rape In Frederick

Frederick County authorities say a Guatemalan man who was deported twice is awaiting trial on rape and child sex-abuse charges in Frederick. Twenty-nine-year-old Fernando Lopez-Ramirez is being held without bail after his arrest in Frederick last month. His public defender couldn't immediately be reached for comment. The county sheriff's office says Lopez-Ramirez was deported in November 2008 after he was caught driving without a license in Frederick. Three months later, he was apprehended by U.S. Border Patrol agents in Arizona and deported for a second time in February 2009. Capt. Tim Clarke says Lopez-Ramirez is among about 650 people detained by the Frederick County sheriff's office under an immigration enforcement program it joined in 2008.

TheAlexJonesChannel April 27, 2010Alex talks with William Gheen of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) about Arizona's recently enacted illegal immigration legislation. William Gheen (ALIPAC Founder) Calls Out Lindsey "Graham-nesty"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SG78fpj0P4M

ALIPAC1 April 20, 2010ALIPAC's President, William Gheen, addressed Graham's homosexuality in a speech before thousands of Tea Party supporters on Saturday, April 17, 2010, in Greenville South Carolina where Lindsey Graham has offices. A brief clip of Gheen's speech, which is out of proper context, has already gone viral on YouTube and been reported by Keith Olberman on MSNBC, Metro Weekly, The Guardian, and Metro Weekly without proper permissions or attributions.

"US Senator Lindsey Graham is gay and while many people in South Carolina and Washington DC know that, the general public and Graham's constituents do not," said William Gheen President of ALIPAC. "I personally do not care about Graham's private life, but in this situation his desire to keep this a secret may explain why he is doing a lot of political dirty work for others who have the power to reveal his secrets. Senator Graham needs to come out of the closet inside that log cabin so the public can rest assured he is not being manipulated with his secret."

Senator Lindsey Graham is the lone Republican in the US Senate trying to lobby other Republicans to sponsor a Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty bill, which would legalize millions of illegal immigrants and turn them into competitive workers and voters, when the United States has over 25 million under or unemployed workers. ALIPAC considers Graham's support for Comprehensive Amnesty legislation to be against the wishes of 80% of his constituents and against the best interests of the American people.

Senator Graham served in the US Military, which adopted a policy of 'Don't Ask Don't Tell" regarding homosexuality during the Clinton administration. Prior to the policy change, homosexuality was considered a vulnerability to our national security because those with access to classified information and strategic resources were often blackmailed by foreign powers.

"Barney Frank has more integrity and bravery than Senator Lindsey Graham right now," said William Gheen of ALIPAC. "When you are a US Senator, the public deserves to know what might influence your decisions. Obama and Napolitano know about Senator Graham, now it is time for the rest of the country to know."

ALIPAC, one of America's largest groups fighting against illegal immigration and amnesty, is releasing this full version of William Gheen's speech containing the request for Senator Graham to confess his homosexuality to the public at this link....

An alarming increase in the numbers of tuberculosis and other diseases which we had previously eradicated from our nation, has long been a concern, and now an array of neurological diseases are on the rise, both in Mexico and in bordering southwestern states. ILLEGALS AMONG US: Ohio Could Give Local Cops Authority To Enforce Immigration Laws (Stark County, Ohio - April 24, 2010)

...In Arizona, Gov. Jan Brewer on Friday signed legislation that would make it a crime under state law to be in the country illegally. It would also require local police officers to question people about their immigration status if there is reason to suspect they are illegal immigrants. Supporters say the measure will remove “political handcuffs” from police.

Locally, the issue was highlighted this week following two separate incidents in Canal Fulton.

One of two suspects charged in a fatal shooting Sunday night at El Rodeo restaurant, 2105 Locust St. S., is believed to be living in the U.S. illegally. Adam Ornelas, 24, of Jackson Township, who is charged with felony tampering with evidence, could be deported by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.

On Tuesday, Canal Fulton Police arrested two Mexican nationals following a hit-skip accident at Ohio 93 and Milan Street Northwest. The men, Rafael Barros, 18, and Leopoldo Aguilar-Rocha, 26, both of Akron, allegedly provided false identification to officers. They are charged with one count each of felony tampering with evidence.

In both cases, the suspects were arrested on local charges but authorities could not enforce federal law, which is under the jurisdiction of the U.S. office of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Another "Inconvenient Truth" About Illegal Immigration...Disease

Last month, 50 students and teachers at Lilburn Middle School in Gwinnett County, Ga., a suburb of Atlanta , tested positive for tuberculosis exposure, and four have been confirmed to have an active case of TB.. While that news may be shocking to most, it is nothing new. In October 2009, about 200 students at the county’s Norcross High School underwent testing, after TB was discovered at the school.

Of course, Atlanta is a known ‘sanctuary city’ for illegal aliens...
