Drunk illegal alien, awaiting deportation kills nun in Va.

On Sunday, Prince William County police arrested Carlos A. Martinelly Montano, 23, after he slammed head on into a car in which three Benedictine nuns were traveling. Sister Denise Mosier was killed instantly, her two companions were taken by helicopter to the hospital where they both remain in critical condition.

Montano was charged with DUI and involuntary manslaughter.

This is actually Montano’s third DUI arrest in Prince William County over the last five years. At the time of the crash, the illegal alien was free on bond while awaiting deportation proceedings.

Montano is currently being held without bond at the Prince William-Manassas regional jail.

A list of a of few Montano’s offenses follows:

- April 2009…he was arrested for driving without a license and convicted in June.

-October 2008…he was stopped for driving 55 in a 35 mph zone, and was found to have a .17 blood alcohol level. Montano was sentenced to three years probation and his driver’s license was suspended.

-December 2007…he was arrested for being drunk in public.

-July 2007…he was charged with DUI and convicted later that same year...

Fearing Ariz. Law, Illegal Immigrants Head To Colo.

While the most controversial elements of Arizona's immigration law have been placed on hold, some illegal immigrants in the state are deciding it's time to leave. In nearby Colorado, the American Friends Service Committee says more than a dozen families have arrived in just the past few weeks.

Arizona's law is intended to discourage illegal immigrants from living in the state. By that measure, the legislation may be succeeding even before it's fully implemented...

Arizona won't back down from Obama and illegal aliens, say officials

Republican state lawmaker Russell Pearce, who sponsored the Arizona immigration reform bill, pledged to take his battle against illegal and criminal aliens to the U.S. Supreme Court, after a Judge Susan Bolton of the U.S. Circuit Court, blocked the enforcement of that law's strictest provisions.

Pearce has gone as far as calling for children born in the U.S. -- known as "anchor babies" -- to be denied citizenship if their parents are here illegally. Many illegal aliens have used this ploy -- having a baby while illegally in the U.S. -- in order to avoid deportation...
